Colin suggested to Debbie and her husband Andy that they launch a charity in her name to help other kids pursue Lauren's dream of becoming an actress and getting an oscar. To that end Colin set up an interview with the Sunday Mirror (click on Sunday mirror interview below). The aim of the charity is to help fund kids through drama school. More information about auditions,criteria etc will happen in due course.

The charity is currently being registered as we speak and will take several months to complete, but everything should be in place by the end of the year. So far the charity has raised in the region of £12,500 and we haven't really started yet! The Pink Ball took place earlier this year (Lauren's favourite colour) and there are several other events planned. We are waiting for charity status before we push ahead. We will keep you informed of our progress. In the meantime any donations should go to 'Give a kid a dream'.
